RAISING OUR VOICES PROJECT
COMMUNITY WORKSHOPS: DANCE & STORYTELLING
Join DanceStream Projects for this interactive dance and poetry workshop series championing the voices of people living with dementia in Brooklyn.
Each Stories in the Moment® class, we connect in dance, movement and storytelling.
You’re invited to join us in exploring the many ways we can tell our stories not only with our words but also with our movement.
All are welcome to participate! All skill levels welcome! No prior dance experience needed. Activities are offered seated and standing with guidance from two dance artists on modifications that suit your unique needs.
This program is offered in partnership with the New York Memory Center. Contact New York Memory Center for more information. Contact Audrey at ASwanson@NYmemorycenter.org or 718-499-7701 x 312.
