DanceStream Projects engages communities through diverse creative and educational projects.

Our community-based dance programs, Stories in the Moment and Every Body Moves are working with people living with dementia as well as diverse older adults living alone to offer joyous, expressive and community building programming while sparking and extending brain health.

Through Group Body Dance, DanceStream Projects is engaging creatives of all disciplines to engage in the practice of group dance improvisation as a vehicle for social change.

DanceStream Projects educational projects dismantle misconceptions and place power founded in evidence base in the hands of individuals and communities to be active agents in their own brain health.

In the last two years, our Brain Health Salons and Socials have partnered with communities in the US (California, New York, Virginia, Indiana) and beyond (Lithuania, Poland, Ireland, Nigeria) to engage in conversation around the interconnection of dance, creativity and brain health across the life course.

The BrainFM program developed in collaboration with Dr. Anusha Mohan, from Trinity College Dublin, is a co-creative educational tool that unites dance and storytelling to make learning about the brain, inclusive, fun and creative, and has engaged intergenerational audiences around the globe.
